Latest update
The roof is on, stone going up
The roof is finished and the stone has started going up the front of the building. The green you can still see on two sides is weather barrier, and the stone goes over it.
Around the building the concrete is down: the drive, the parking, and the apron the service bays open onto. The bays themselves are still open to the air.
Doors and glass come next, then the rest of the exterior finishes and signage.

Pouring the foundation
Concrete pumps on site for the foundation pour. This is the one that fixes the building in place, so it is the day everything else is measured from.
The footprint is set
Forms and reinforcement laid out across the pad. The outline you can make out from the road is the shape of the finished shop.
Digging starts
Excavation underway. We broke ground in December, and this spring the sitework began in earnest: the pad cut, graded and prepared for the foundation.
